9th August

Today was a very busy but exciting day.

In the morning, we climber Mount Coolum instead of going to the University. Mount Coolum is 208m tall. It is a short but challenging walk to the top. At the top we rested and ate morning tea.

After that, we returned to school and joined a grade 9 Japanese class in which students were paired together and asked one another questions about life in their respective countries.

After lunch, we visited the school farm and students joined the students who look after the  miniature horses there and learned ho to care for, lead and run with the horses. The local students were very friendly and helpful and the students had a great time. It was a great day.

I went to the school. Nest, we took a bus. We arrived at a mountain. There was a stone road that we followed to the top of the mountain. We were very tired but the view we could see at the top of the mountain was very beautiful.

When we went back to school, we joined rear 9 Japanese class. We introduced ourselves to each other. We got to know each other and became friends.

After that, we ate lunch with our buddies. It was a lot of fun. My friends are very beautiful.

After lunch, we went to the farm. There, the students taught us how to take care of miniature horses. My horse’s name was Cruise. We are with the horses and we jumped with them. It was my first time to run with horses so it was a lot of fun. Cruise could jump very well. They were very cute.

After I arrived at home, I gave my host family presents. They looked happy. I did origami with my host sisters. It was hard to make a turtle.

It was a fun day.

I woke up my host brother. He was still sleeping. I took a shower and ate breakfast. I arrived at school and we went to Mount Coolum. It was easy to climb. We could climb it in about 20 minutes. The view from the top of the mountain was wonderful. We could see the ocean, buildings and nature. After coming back from school we went to the farm. I played with and led a miniature horse. He was so nice. The students at the farm taught me how to control him. I had a good time today.
