15th August
We took an ESL class in the morning. The class focussed on conversation practice. We also did reading aloud exercises of "Momotaro" for our presentation. It has been over a week since we came to NCC and I feel that the high school students are getting to know each other better through such exercises. The most impressive event of today was interacting with students who study Japanese. I am starting to to want to speak English better and to talk with more people in the future.
(P.S. The cookies my host mother made for us were delicious!).

It is the second week since I came to Australia. I'm getting used to Australia, but I miss Japan a little bit.
Today, the junior high school students came to Australia and talked with NCC students in Japanese and English. It was so difficult because I'm not good at conversation of English. I was surprised that students here are so good at Japanese. I want to speak English well like that.
Now, we are going to go to the Eumundi Markets and Noosa Beach tomorrow. Australia is winter now but because the sunlight is strong we have to wear a hat and apply sunscreen. Therefore, I will do both!
I'm looking forward to going there!

I played soccer with my buddy and his brother but the brother lost the ball and we could not find it. After that, I made a phone call to my friends and I talked with them for an hour and that was a lot of fun so I was happy. Later, I watched the soccer game between England and Australia. The game was exciting and I thought Australia would win but in the end they lost.
