16th August

I woke up at 6 o'clock.

I was looking forward to visiting the market and the beach. After talking silly stories with my host brother on the school bus, I went to the meeting place. When I got there, almost all the students had arrived. I was wearing school uniform but most of the students were wearing plain clothes and I realised that I could wear plain clothes. 

After that, we finally got on the bus. We went to the market first.The market was so big. I bought a juice to soothe my throat and I also bought a soap. It cost 8 dollars. I thought this was reasonable for Australia.

Next we went to the hamburger shop. We had a reservation there. It was delicious and something I cannot eat in Japan. After eating, we went to the beach. The water was clear and not too cold. I felt like swimming. In fact about two people gave into temptation and did. Their clothes got drenched.

After that, we got on the bus again and went back to school. The trip was over.

I talked about this with my hist brother at home. He listened to my story with envy.

I'll never forget this day.

First we went to the market. I walked around the market and I at a strawberry doughnut- it was nice. I saw a shop where we can take a photo of our eyes. It was interesting. I bought three bracelets.

After that, we went to eat lunch. We had hamburgers and french fries. It was very delicious. I was very full because the hanburger was big.

Next, we walked to the beach. It was very beautiful. The ocean was blue. The water was a little cold. I tiook many photos. I walked on the beach  and ate another donut. It was nice.

It was a great day for me.

  Today was a very busy but exciting day. In the morning, we climber Mount Coolum instead of going to the University. Mount Coolum is 208m tall. It is a short but challenging walk to the top. At the top we rested and ate morning tea. After that, we returned to school and joined a grade 9 Japanese class in which students were paired together and asked one another questions about life in their respective countries. After lunch, we visited the school farm and students joined the students who look after the   miniature horses there and learned ho to care for, lead and run with the horses. The local students were very friendly and helpful and the students had a great time. It was a great day. I went to the school. Nest, we took a bus. We arrived at a mountain. There was a stone road that we followed to the top of the mountain. We were very tired but the view we could see at the top of the mountain was very beautiful. 20th August (High School)

I woke up at 7 AM. When I woke up my host family were watching a rugby game on TV. They are from South Africa so they were cheering. At 8:30 AM, my host brother and sister took me on a canoe ride. From the boat, I could see lots of fish in the water and it was so much fun. After that, we went to Moooloolaba Beach. We walked on the beach and went to the shops there. We came back home at 5:00 PM. My host sister and brother taught me how to   ride an electric scooter and we went to see the view on the scooters.   In the evening, we watched Fast and Furious and ate steak for dinner. 23rd August (High School)

I went to school at 8:00. In the morning, we had a lesson on the history of hunting in Australia in English at the outdoor theatre. Then we went to the oval and watched the aboriginal man throw boomerangs. In the afternoon, I took classes with my buddy. I went to P.E class. There, we played rugby. It was very hot and hard work but it was a lot of fun. After returning home, we ate ramen noodles and snacks brought from Japan. I hope to enjoy the remaining day of the trip. H.Y (High School. Boy) I woke up at 6:00. I ate corn flakes for breakfast. I took a bus with my host sisters. My host sister who is in grade 5 went to school camp, so today is the last day that we can go to school together.   In the morning, we attended an aboriginal workshop- it was interesting.
