【JHS】24th August

I got up at 6:30am. I can lead a regular life since coming to Australia. I’m feeling so good.

And then we went to Australian Zoo. There was a very interesting place. We could see many animals which we can see only in Australia such as kangaroos, koalas and wombats and Tasmanian devils.  

I fed kangaroos. They were very cute and ate a lot. And I read a passage about Devil Facial Tumour Disease (DFTD) when I was watching a Tasmanian devil. I couldn’t understand the passage well, but after I got home, my host mother explained about it so I could understand well. I felt sad and disappointed. DFTD remained in my heart.

Many students bought lots suvenirs. I bought a necklace for my host sisters and some snacks for my family.

This language training will soon end. So I want to say thank you to as many people as possible!

Today, we went to the zoo. I went around with my friends. First, we went to "Roo Heaven" wich has many kangaroos in it. I fed them there. Their fur was very fluffy and really cute. After that, went to play the trampoline. Everyone seemed to be having a lot of fun.  There was not only a trampoline, but also coffee cups. I thought it is interesting to install that kinds of things in the zoo. 
I was getting thirsty, so I tried to buy a drink from the vending machine. However, even though I put money in it, I couldn't choose a drink and didn't get a refund. And I asked the keeper what to do, he told me to go to a cafe and managed to get me a drink. I wasted a lot of time on one sprite. I love sprite!!!!! After that, I went around looking at various animals such as emu, elephants and red pandas. And we all watched the Crocodile Show. It was very powerful. As an animal lover, I had a lot of fun. 
Tomorrow is finally my last school in Australia, so it's sad, but I want to have fun.

Today I went to the Australia Zoo. First, we saw kangaroos and touched them. After that, we has a long walk to the tiger show. At the tiger show, I saw tigers jump into the pool. Next, I saw koalas and this is my first time to see them. They were so pretty. Then, we saw meerkats and they all was standing up and running fast. They were also very cute. 

After that, we went to the crocosium to watch a crocodile show. Before the show, some birds were flying in the stadium. First, some blue birds came up, so I was so happy because I wanted to see ones. A crocodile coming up in the show looked very dangerous.

  Today was a very busy but exciting day. In the morning, we climber Mount Coolum instead of going to the University. Mount Coolum is 208m tall. It is a short but challenging walk to the top. At the top we rested and ate morning tea. After that, we returned to school and joined a grade 9 Japanese class in which students were paired together and asked one another questions about life in their respective countries. After lunch, we visited the school farm and students joined the students who look after the   miniature horses there and learned ho to care for, lead and run with the horses. The local students were very friendly and helpful and the students had a great time. It was a great day. I went to the school. Nest, we took a bus. We arrived at a mountain. There was a stone road that we followed to the top of the mountain. We were very tired but the view we could see at the top of the mountain was very beautiful. 20th August (High School)

I woke up at 7 AM. When I woke up my host family were watching a rugby game on TV. They are from South Africa so they were cheering. At 8:30 AM, my host brother and sister took me on a canoe ride. From the boat, I could see lots of fish in the water and it was so much fun. After that, we went to Moooloolaba Beach. We walked on the beach and went to the shops there. We came back home at 5:00 PM. My host sister and brother taught me how to   ride an electric scooter and we went to see the view on the scooters.   In the evening, we watched Fast and Furious and ate steak for dinner. 23rd August (High School)

I went to school at 8:00. In the morning, we had a lesson on the history of hunting in Australia in English at the outdoor theatre. Then we went to the oval and watched the aboriginal man throw boomerangs. In the afternoon, I took classes with my buddy. I went to P.E class. There, we played rugby. It was very hot and hard work but it was a lot of fun. After returning home, we ate ramen noodles and snacks brought from Japan. I hope to enjoy the remaining day of the trip. H.Y (High School. Boy) I woke up at 6:00. I ate corn flakes for breakfast. I took a bus with my host sisters. My host sister who is in grade 5 went to school camp, so today is the last day that we can go to school together.   In the morning, we attended an aboriginal workshop- it was interesting. I was especially interested in the boomerangs- it was amazing. When it was morning tea, I bought sushi at the tuck shop. I wanted to try it.
